The Workshop

This workshop will introduce you to the essentials of Emotional Intelligence and Integral Theory. The individual steps to higher Emotional Intelligence competence and how you can establish and maintain a highly effective Emotional Intelligence team. The workshop will answer these questions:

  • Why is it essential to promote the communication of the negative emotions at work, as well as the positive ones?
  • How do I learn to manage my emotions?
  • Where do my emotions come from? What can I learn about myself through my emotions?
  • What techniques can I learn to become more self-aware?
  • How can I take some simple steps to establish the cultural norms that promote the development and maintenance of a highly effective and happy Emotional Intelligence team?
  • How can I reduce the stress in the workplace and promote a happier and more effective team of people who enjoy coming to work?

The information available in this workshop is NOT available in reference books or articles. Allen Stewart, the presenter, is a Master Project Director and Life Coach who first successfully implemented these strategies in complex major projects as early as 1996. Allen has presented on this topic for the past five years and speaks from personal experience in a lively and entertaining workshop.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the core components of Emotional Intelligence;
  • Understand a the basic Four Quadrant Integral model and the important place of Emotional Intelligence in that model;
  • Develop attitudes and effective strategies to manage emotions;
  • Learn the important steps to developing a greater self awareness, the core Emotional Intelligence competency;
  • Learn transforming optimistic attitudes and language that can transform teams; and,
  • Learn how to establish the key cultural norms necessary to establish and maintain Emotional Intelligence Teams.

This one day workshop can be combined with the introductory Emotionally Intelligent Leaders workshop to present a one day workshop that addresses the essentials of individual Emotional Intelligence and how to establish and run an Emotionally Intelligent team.
